The company was born out of a passion for the sea, gained through years of experience aboard the catamaran by “sailors.”
The owner of A Mare Salento, in fact, has developed in the field an in-depth knowledge of Salento’s marine dynamics, exploring over the years not only the Salento coastline, islands, and well-known historical-war attractions, but also and especially the seabed, learning to live with and navigate the varied currents and unpredictable winds.
In addition to the experience gained on the catamaran, the expertise of the A Mare Salento staff is attested and proven by nautical licenses, diver’s licenses, rowing, swimming and apnea courses at an advanced level, and the professional titles held by the Merchant Marine captain who drives the boat.
The commander of A Mare Salento will personally welcome you aboard the splendid 72-square-meter twin-engine catamaran, making himself available during the snorkeling-tour to illustrate the local flora-fauna peculiarities, offer you an aperip lunch or apericena based on typical Salento products, accompanied by a good wine produced from native vines, all to make your experience aboard the catamaran along the Salento coasts of Porto Cesareo and Torre Lapillo unforgettable!
