General terms and conditions of sale
These general terms and conditions regulate the sale of tickets – made by the same company at the embarkation site – to the service users/customers for the catamaran excursions.
A Mare Salento decides on every aspect and mode of sale of the tickets being itself a tax collecting entity.
Customers must book and purchase through our e-commerce website www.amaresalento.it. The ticket may be brokered by tour operators or agencies authorized by A Mare Salento itself.
A Mare Salento has the right to cancel a reservation or purchase ticket made at any time, for technical and/or organizational reasons. In case of cancellation of an excursion by the company A Mare Salento, for reasons dependent solely and exclusively on it, the latter will refund the amount paid by the customer for the purchase of the ticket.
The snorkeling-tour package will be activated with the minimum number of 10 (ten) participants, and the sunset snorkeling-tour package with 25 (twenty-five) participants. Those who have paid for the ticket will be notified of the cancellation of the snorkeling-tour by the A Mare Salento company and will be able to decide whether to move their reservation and take advantage of the previously purchased ticket on another date by mutual agreement with the company or to request a refund of the amount paid for the ticket purchase. The refund is made by the A Mare Salento company through the same ecommerce site, bank transfer or cash at the point of sale.
The payment instruments that can be used by the customer are decided by A Mare Salento. Payment by credit or debit card is handled through the SumUp Air POS payment system, PayPal and Stripe. The credit cards supported for payments are: VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA ELECTRON, MAESTRO, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AURA and DISCOVER. A Mare Salento is therefore not aware of any data relating to the buyer’s credit card, has no responsibility in this regard and in no way can intervene in the transaction. For any problems inherent in the transaction made with your credit card, you must directly contact the reference offices of your bank.
The online price of tickets is €45 for adults, €25 for children aged 4 to 9, and free for children aged 0 to 3, upon presentation at boarding of an identity document of the child benefiting from the concessionary price. People with disabilities are entitled to a special price: €35 for adults, €16 for children aged 4 to 9, and free for children aged 0 to 3.
If the previously purchased ticket is not used by the specified date, it will neither be transferable to other activities, nor refundable, nor usable the following year.
If the Customer decides that he/she wants to give up the previously purchased ticket(s), there is no refund of the ticket price. In fact, it is not possible to exercise the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 55 of the Consumer Code and in accordance with Legislative Decree of May 22, 1999, No. 185, as stated in Article 7 paragraph B.
Limitation of liability and rights of A Mare Salento
A Mare Salento is not responsible in any way for damages, direct and indirect and of any nature, suffered by the customer in relation to the services offered. A Mare Salento also reserves the right to withdraw, modify, suspend or discontinue any function or service for technical and/or organizational reasons.
Tickets may not be used for political, commercial, advertising or other promotional reasons (such as, for example, prizes in competitions).
